     NEWS

June 14, 2005

Hey guys,

I'm ending my self-inflicted silence with some big, demented news. This week my song "Father" will be getting airplay on Dr. Demento's show in honor of Father's Day!

Dr. Demento is a DJ that has been around for 30 years and is known as the guy who discovered Weird Al. His weekly radio show is nationally syndicated in over 50 markets! Unfortunately, the show does not broadcast in the New York or Los Angeles markets, but you can find out more about him at drdemento.com.

On the show front, I have played a couple of the Improv clubs in SoCal and advanced to the quarterfinals of this contest called Laff-Down VI. I've also had such great experiences at a few places that strangers (now friends) have bought me alcohol after my set. Unfortunately, before I went on I spent $7 on a captain & coke and with a body like mine, two drinks is my limit.

THIS WEEK'S SHOW PICK

Wednesday, June 15 @ 8 PM

No Drink Maximum @ The Parlour Club
The "Flag Day Rules!" Show
7702 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA
